Hand Embroidered A-Line dress for a baby

Hand Embroidered A-Line dress for a baby

I made this A-Line dress for my grandbaby. It has been made by using a nursery print fabric in cotton and a white fine muslin cloth. The top body, lower part and the sleeve border are of the print and the center is in White. I have embellished the Yoke and sleeves with a white lace. To add a more creative touch I have hand embroidered a rabbit and teddy on the front in shades of thread matching the nursery print. The stitches used for the embroidery are mainly buttonhole stitch and chain stitch. The dress has been kept open at the back.
