DIY Custom Baby Clothes

Here is a really cool way to add cool graphics, pictures and lettering to pretty much any baby clothing item. In fact you do not have to limit yourself to just clothing. You could use this same technique on anything that is made with fabric. Make custom baby blankets, baby pillows, baby bags, you get the picture.

How do I do it? Iron on paper! Yup. There is actual paper that is made to print anything you want onto it, and then iron the image onto fabric. It is super easy to do. I used the iron transfer paper to make a custom funky onesie. The onesie had classic tattoo graphics all over it. I had a few close friends and family in mind when I made it. Have some friends who are really into tattoos? Or maybe you are into tattoo art.

All you have to do to make these custom baby clothes is come up with a photo or graphic that you want to transfer to a T-shirt or bag or whatever. Print that graphic onto the paper. Trim it out with a margin of about 1/4" to 1/2". Then iron it on.

Grandparents can iron on a picture of themselves onto a onesie with the words "worlds greatest grandparents" or "proud grandparents". Really there is A LOT of potential here.
