Dots and stipes to keep all things nice

Like all small kids, my grandbaby Dhairya too has lots of toys. Especially a lot of assorted soft toys of his mother, who had a fancy of collecting them right until her adulthood. Naturally all these have gone to make my grandson's collection difficult to manage. Therefore to keep them properly organized and not see the toys scattered around I have made a toy bag. I had seen the design in a sewing book some time back and I picked up the idea.

Made of three different printed cotton fabrics, it has been lined with a thick cotton drill fabric for a sturdy body. The different fabrics are demarcated by a woven ribbon. The flowers are sewn from the same fabrics used for the bag and held in place with big sized matching buttons. There is a drawstring at the top, made like a braid from the three different fabrics used.A flat loop is attached to the top back side to hang the bag on a hook. In fact a similar bag can be made to hold laundry.
