Soft Sole Baby Shoes Patterns
I made piles of bibs, burp cloths and blankets. I have a friend due just a month after me, so I decided I would make a gift for her too. I came across a great baby shoe pattern so I made us both a couple pairs. Well thank god I made two of the same exact pair because I absolutely LOVE them. I would not have wanted to give them up! LOL! I was so happy with how they came out that I was hooked. I will be producing gobs of soft soled baby shoes in the weeks to come. As soon as I was done with the first pair I actually went ahead and started making them for my toddler too, for her to use as house slippers. I had to enlarge the pattern to fit her much larger feet but they turned out great! She loved them too. She was so happy when she tried them on that she wouldn't take them off again. She slept with them on that night and everything. The baby shoe pattern I used was from stardust shoes. It's a great pattern and tutorial. I actually had to alter the pattern a bit and wing it a little, since I decided to go with using minky fabric for the inside liner of my baby shoes. I wanted them to have a super soft inside, and be super warm too. Being from New England where the winters are quite cold these will come in handy for keeping my baby's feet nice and warm.I thought about making my own baby shoe pattern to share with you all but I figured there wasn't much of a need. There really are so many great ones already circulating out there on the web. I've come across many patterns in my search for soft sole baby shoes so I wanted to share some here. Here's a list of those I thought were the best: I'm sure once you get started you'll be hooked just like me! I only wish I had more friends with babies on the way so I had more people to give them away to. My babies can only wear so many!
