Charlie Brown

Charlie B

My son has a big round blond head, so I decided he should be Charlie Brown for his 1st Halloween. I'm not hugely creative, so this is a simple costume that anyone can do!

I bought a yellow shirt, and a sheet of black felt from the crafts store. I sketched out Charlie Brown's signature zig zag on the felt, cut out two of them, and sewed them (just loosely hand stitched them so I could remove them and use the shirt day-to-day afterward) on the belly and back of the shirt. Paired with some jeans and a plush Snoopy, it was the perfect costume for my Little Man!

We had professional photos made because it suited him so well. I'll post an un-professional photo here, though, because I don't have the copyright on the professional ones. In this photo he stuck his candy bucket on his head. Seems like a Charlie Brown thing to do, doesn't it?
