make your own baby clothesThinking about make your own baby clothes? What mom doesn't enjoy dressing their babies up in the cutest stuff they can get their hands on? But these days who can afford it? And all the stores are carrying lots of the same old same old.

If you shop at the boutiques there are heaps of drool inducing frocks for your little one, but those "to die for" duds also come with a hefty price tag.

When I was shopping for my first baby - a daughter - I started to notice something. Sure, I came across piles and piles of adorable clothes, but most of the time I was thinking "I could make that myself" and just passed them by. Especially after taking a peak at some of the price tags.

So I began bargain hunting for part of her wardrobe, and in my spare time creating cute as can be outfits and matching accessories!

I made lots of handmade clothes and I even took some of the clearance rack baby stuff I snagged at sales, and altered or embellished them to my hearts content.

What I ended up with is an entire wardrobe of adorable one of a kind custom frocks unlike any that any other mom had. And we got compliments everywhere we went! :-)
